The International Association of Sedimentology (IAS) and the Ibn Battuta Centre (Marrakech), in collaboration with the Université Cadi Ayyad, Faculté de Sciences Semlalia (Marrakech), the Université Mohammed Premier, Faculté Pluridisciplinaire (Nador, Morocco) and the International Research School of Planetary Sciences Università d'Annunzio (Pescara, Italy) cordially invite you to Marrakech, Morocco, for the 32nd IAS meeting of Sedimentology. The meeting will take place from 23 to 25 May 2016 at the Palais des Congres de Marrakech.
This meeting is part of a long-lasting series of successful annual meetings that started in Bochum (Germany) in 1980. Since the beginning, these meetings gathered together a considerable number of people ranging from young Ph.D. students to well experienced scientists. They have covered a wide spectrum of sedimentological disciplines keeping thepace with the development and evolution of the investigation of sediments and sedimentary rocks. The meeting in Marrakech will try to keep this tradition by attracting both senior and junior scientists and creating a lively environment.
